A variety of pre-disposal and Post-disposal skills. In terms of big classification, there are two main categories: distillation (thermal method) and membrane method. Among them, low multi-effect distillation, multi-stage flash evaporation and reverse immersion membrane method are the global mainstream skills. Low multi-efficiency has the advantages of energy saving, low demand for Seawater Pretreatment and high quality of desalinated water. Reverse immersion membrane process has the advantages of low investment and low energy consumption, but high demand for seawater pretreatment. The multi-stage flash evaporation method has the advantages of sophisticated skills, reliable operation and large equipment output, but its energy consumption is high. Low multi-effect distillation and reverse immersion membrane are the future directions.
